Welcome! My name is Janos Nagy and I have joined Genpact Romania in 2006 as Process Associate in IT Helpdesk.

I have graduated from the Foreign Language department of the University of Bucharest and I decided to start my career at Genpact because I realized I can apply my foreign language skills into a new field and learn a new job!

Genpact’s office in Bucharest is located in the Northern side of the city, close to Pipera metro station. From the station, it takes me 8 minutes to walk to the office.

My program starts at 9:00 and ends at 17:30 with a 45 minutes lunch break at noon. There are two functional cafeterias at Genpact, both of them serving warm meals and being equipped with fridges and microwave ovens.

But let’s go beyond the day-to-day life. A positive in Genpact is that it offers me and my colleagues a clear career path and opportunities to grow. I am currently Senior Process Specialist which means that on top of my Process Trainer responsibilities (my previous role), I am also responsible for audits and call monitoring for Quality. Also, I try to attend as many training classes as possible in order to prepare myself for the next step in my career.

But working at Genpact is not only about…work. We also have fun(the summer and Christmas parties with over 1,000 participants are legendary). Having fun is not an issue since 3 of my team colleagues are my friends as well: at Genpact, we are encouraged to recommend our friends to the recruitment team and we are paid a bonus for each successful hiring!
