Growing Up at Genpact

Ioana Cucu

Ioana Cucu started her career at Genpact within a telesales team in August 2006. She earned the “Employee of the Year” title in 2007 and in April 2008, after successfully passing the Assessment Center, she was promoted to Quality Domain Expert Trainee. Before joining Genpact, Ioana had worked in call centers, mortgages, wines, you name it. These experiences, as one of her former colleagues puts it, “built up her character”. In her Domain Expert Trainee role, Ioana takes care of standardizing the contract administration process and handles quality trainings logistics.

  What were the challenges?
A new team, with a completely new and different culture; and of course, the nature of the job.

  How do you overcome challenges?

If you manage to differentiate what makes each individual unique you can sell anything to that person, be it a product, a project, an idea or yourself (you do have to sell yourself in an interview or assessment center, don’t you?). ...Read More
